List of Eligible and Ineligible Individuals for the Benazir Kafalat Program
Its primary objective is to provide financial assistance to poor and indigent women and transgender individuals across the country. This article details the registration process and eligibility criteria, ensuring you can effectively complete your registration.
The Benazir Kafalat Program offers immediate financial assistance of 8500 and 10500 PKR to deserving women and transgender individuals, helping them reduce their expenses.
Eligible Individuals:
- Poor and Indigent Women: Women who are economically disadvantaged and in need of financial support.
- Transgender Individuals: Transgender persons who lack financial stability and require assistance.
Ineligible Individuals:
- Taxpayers: People who pay taxes to the Government of Pakistan.
- Government Employees: Households with any member employed by the government.
- High-Income Earners: Individuals or families with a monthly income exceeding 60,000 PKR.
- International Travelers: People who have traveled abroad or have a family member living overseas.
- Landowners: Those owning more than two acres of agricultural land or having a family member who owns such land.
- High Poverty Rate: Individuals or families with a poverty rate exceeding 35%.
- Criminal Activity: People involved in theft, illegal activities, or with an FIR registered in their name.
- Improved Financial Status: Individuals who previously received BISP assistance but have since improved their financial situation.
- High Bank Balance: Individuals with a bank balance exceeding 60,000 PKR.
Be Careful and Avoid Scams
All official communications and orders for the BISP program are sent and received through the number 8171. Registration and distribution of funds are not conducted from any other number. If you receive any calls or SMS from a different number, do not share any personal information, such as your name, home address, or ID card details.
If you encounter any suspicious activities, report them immediately to BISP at 0800-55055. Your report will be promptly addressed, and necessary actions will be taken. The PTA organization will not charge any fee or money for processing your report.
The Payment Process by the Bank
Bank Al Falah facilitates payments in Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Habib Bank handles payments in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Islamabad.
