The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has announced that a total of 30 districts from Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be included in the second phase of the Benazir Kafalat Program payments. The districts from Punjab are Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan. From Sindh, the districts included are Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Matiari, Sujawal, Thatta, Badin, Sukkur, Ghotki, and Khairpur. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the districts are Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Kohat, Hangu, Kurram, and Orakzai.
How to Receive Benazir Kafalat Payment in the Second Phase
Naveed Akbar, Director General of BISP, has provided detailed instructions on how beneficiaries can receive their payments in a recently released video message. He explained that beneficiaries from the districts included in the second phase will receive an SMS from 8171 indicating the release of their payments. Upon receiving this SMS, beneficiaries should go to the designated BISP campsites near them to collect their money. Only those who have received the SMS notification will be permitted to enter the campsites and receive their payments.
Beneficiaries are advised to proceed to the campsites only after receiving the payment release SMS from 8171 to ensure a smooth and efficient distribution process.
Procedure for New Registration in the Kafalat Program
New registrations for the Kafalat Program have now commenced. Women from eligible families can visit the nearest BISP office in their city to complete their registration. To do so, they must bring their identity card, a children’s B-form, and a house electricity or gas bill.
Is Online Registration Available for the BISP Program?
